For those of you that follow me on here, how many of you are writers? If you are a writer how do you balance life/work/writing?
I find myself wanting to write, but never actually doing it. Why? I don’t know!
If I’m at work I find in afraid to write things down because what if I lose it? Then there’s the notebook issue. Crazy as it sounds I can’t write in just any notebook.
So friends, where do you store your creative ideas?
Hellooooo Friday!
Let’s kick some ass shall we?
This Friday to Sunday, I challenge YOU to:
- Cut out all Soda (this includes Diet Soda) - If you’re like me, this is going to be a toughie.
- 30 squats before each meal. Run to the bathroom at a restaurant if you have to!
- Learn a crazy dance…
This morning I got up at 8:15, laced on my sneakers and restarted the couch to 5k program. By the 6th 1 minute run I felt like my legs could not move, but somehow I did it. The next run is scheduled for Monday. Which also happens to be the day I return to 5 AM wake ups. Should I just get up at 4:15? Help.
I’ve started using the My Plate Livestrong app on my phone.
I’m tracking everything I eat and I did 40 minutes of Zumba today.
I’ll call that a pretty good start.
Let me first start this post by saying I like my job.
Honestly, I do. I really like the people I work with, and my manager is one of the best I’ve had in a really long time. I think that says something.
However, it has nothing to do with my undergrad degree or my masters. Absolutely nothing.
Hello, $20,000+ education? Yeah, I think you’ll just sit on this shelf until I figure things out.
I’ve done a lot of thinking and “soul searching” the past few weeks. I think it’s time I start looking for something that relates to my fields of interest.
Thankfully, living in AZ I have a few options. So why is it so hard to apply? Why am I struggling with the decision to put myself out there and try?
I think it’s because I know I’d be starting over. It’s not like I haven’t done this before. Let’s rewind the last 6 months when I opted to move across the US. I think that worked out pretty good, so why not make it even better?
I can make this work, right?
Now that the move is over, I’ve started running. Well, trying anyway. The other day I could only do 3 out of the 8 1 minute runs. Today, I did 6! I call that huge progress.
I’ve been looking for crockpot recipes for those days where I’m scheduled to run, but don’t want dinner to be late.
Christmas is coming! What are you asking for?
30th Birthday, When did you show up?
I had myself pumped to go for a run. Went outside and there’s a coyote chillin’ in the street.
Maybe later.
This book was amazing. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but after spending so much time reading YA this was a treat.
I’m interested in seeing the movie to see how it turned out even though I can’t stand Robert Pattinson.
If you read Water for Elephants what did you think?
My job offers discounts on our insurance in we complete health challenges. They vary from exercising 30 minutes a day to eating plenty of fruits and vegetables. I’m actually really excited about this and would like to succeed.
Let’s see if I can do this.
